There will be four events held during the August 22nd through 24th race:

The Unlimiteds will compete for the Chrysler Jeep Superstores APBA Gold Cup. Eleven Unlimiteds will join us this year.

Vintage and Historic raceboats will stage 'non-competitive' runs sponsored by the Detroit Yacht Club. We'll have Bill Muncey's Miss Thriftway/Century 21. Some lucky person will take a ride Sunday on the Gold Cup course. The Chrysler Queen will be on static display in the pits with her Hemi. And live on the water, welcome "MISS CRAZY THING", a vintage Grand Prix beauty with an awesome Hemi engine with Bill Sterrett, Jr as Owner & Driver. When he ran a couple weeks ago at the Detroit River River Cruise, several of the Unlimited Lights were heard to remark "Glad he's not running against us." Be sure to watch for the DYC Vintage & Historic Fly-bys.

Jersey Speed Skiffs will compete for Jumpin' Points and Purses sponsored by the Roostertail.

And in another nod to history, we will have the Silver Cup Sweepstakes Free-for-All, reminiscent of racing in the 40's & 50's where you "run what you brung". This is designed for hydroplanes 17' to 27' with a 750cid maximum. This years Sweepstakes is an invitational for the Unlimited Lights and Grand Prix classes (the ULs will not be restricted to UL rules).
