What To Bring

Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring suntan lotion! You may also wish to bring sunglasses and a cap to shade your face (souvenir caps are available in some areas). If you're seated on the beach or grass, bring a blanket. They also make good bleacher pads. Due to how quickly weather can change in Detroit - choose among your t-shirts, long-sleeves or windbreakers when leaving for the event. Remember that a small breeze off the river can make this area a few degrees cooler than the outlying cities. Same as you would prepare for most any day-long outing.
