The Gold Cup event covers a large area on the Detroit River so there are many different viewing areas and ticket plans, from a casual picnic to exciting viewing at the water's edge.
Our most popular tickets are in the Waterworks Park Grandstand area, an excellent place to watch the races from. There are two sections: Commodore's Club (reserved seating in area #4) and General Admission (area #5).
For casual viewing consider the General Admission parks (areas #7). Henderson Park and Memorial Park have space available for barbequing and picnicing.
Casual viewing from the Belle Isle Beach is free for all days of the event! As a new state park, a vehicle entry charge may apply.
Viewing from areas #3, #4, #5 and #7 is FREE on Friday!

Detroit Racing Legends Gathering

The Detroit Racing Legends will be presenting a program called "The Kids From California" honoring Danny Foster and Dan & Gene Arena.
Mingle and meet the drivers, owners, crew and fans from across the country that have made the Gold Cup the oldest active Motor Sports Trophy in the world.
Hors-d'oeuvres will be served, cash bar.
